Overview
This position is a hybrid role responsible for sales, after-sales support, and cashiering transactions within the store. The role serves as a front-line position that directly interacts with customers and contributes to achieving the store/branch's monthly sales targets, customer service standards, and cash management KPIs.
The incumbent is required to prepare daily collection reports and ensure that all collections are properly accounted for, maintaining a high level of accuracy in cash handling to avoid shortages or variances. This position reports directly to the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager, depending on the shift schedule.
Functions
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Customer Service & Sales
- Provides excellent customer service to improve overall business performance
- Greets, addresses, and thanks customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Understands customer requirements and provides appropriate clarifications and solutions
- Routes and directs customer requests to appropriate personnel when necessary
- Delivers prompt and professional solutions for customer inquiries
- Demonstrates strong customer service skills and establishes customer engagement during payment transactions
- Handles customer questions and inquiries regarding bills payment and other payment-related transactions
- Maintains and updates customer documentation as required
- Processes and tracks customer claims to ensure timely resolution
Sales Performance
- Demonstrates strong sales and customer service attributes with extensive exposure or experience in sales and customer service
- Consistently meets individual monthly sales targets and contributes significantly to the overall store performance
- Works closely with team members to ensure group sales targets are achieved
- Maintains broad knowledge of products and services
- Contributes ideas to resolve customer issues and improve productivity
Cashiering & Cash Management
- Handles all sales and bills payment transactions
- Performs start-of-day and end-of-day cash counts, including change fund reconciliation
- Prepares daily collection reports and remits collections to the collecting bank or designated bank depository as required
- Ensures accuracy in cash handling to prevent shortages or variances
- Strictly observes store policies and procedures related to cashiering and cash management
Administrative & Team Participation
- Participates in meetings, regular cadence, and activities aimed at improving customer satisfaction and business performance
- Works collaboratively with various team members to support store objectives

Job Skills & Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent formal academic qualification in Marketing, Business Management, Sales and Operations, or Customer Service
- At least three (3) years of relevant experience providing the knowledge, skills, and abilities required to perform the role
- Proficient knowledge of retail trade, sales and distribution, and customer service, preferably within the local telecommunications industry
