About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Store Manager to lead our store operations in Danao City, Cebu. This is a full-time position that offers an exciting opportunity to manage all aspects of store performance, including sales, operations, customer service, and team leadership. As Store Manager, you will be responsible for driving profitability, maintaining store standards, and creating an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. This role is pivotal to the success of our retail operations and directly contributes to the strategic growth objectives of Ace Hardware Phils., Inc. Specifically, you will be doing the following:

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all daily store operations, including inventory management, stock rotation, and merchandising to ensure optimal product availability and presentation
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets, whilst maintaining healthy profit margins
  • Lead, recruit, train, and motivate store staff to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain high performance standards
  • Manage staffing schedules, conduct performance reviews, and handle employee relations matters in accordance with company policies
  • Monitor and control operating expenses, including labor costs, utilities, and supplies, to maximize store profitability
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and security regulations, maintaining a safe working environment for staff and customers
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, addressing concerns and gathering feedback to improve service quality
  • Analyze sales data and customer trends to identify opportunities for growth and implement targeted marketing initiatives
  • Conduct regular stock takes and audits to maintain inventory accuracy and prevent shrinkage
  • Liaise with head office and other store locations to ensure consistency in brand standards and operational procedures

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience of at least 1-3 years in retail store management or similar supervisory role in a fast-paced retail environment
  • Srong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members at all levels
  • Excellent sales acumen with demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth and profitability
  • Proficiency in inventory management systems and point-of-sale (POS) technology
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial reports and sales data
  • Outstanding customer service orientation with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of retail best practices, merchandising principles, and visual display standards
  • Flexibility to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays as required
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure
  • Certification or qualification in retail management or business administration is advantageous
