Job Description
The Stockroom Associate supports the accurate and efficient movement of merchandise from receiving to storage and from the stockroom to the sales floor.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receive, unpack, count, and check incoming merchandise.
- Verify quantities, SKU, size, color, and condition of products.
- Properly organize and store merchandise according to established standards.
- Prepare and replenish merchandise to the sales floor accurately and on time.
- Assist in stock counts and inventory activities.
- Identify and report damaged, defective, missing, or irregular merchandise.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization in the stockroom.
- Protect company merchandise and assets at all times
- Assist the sales floor during peak periods when required.
- Assist on merchandise restocking for unsold items from the fitting room area.
- Follow superiors to do other task related to work in achieving store goals and activities
- Ensure the customer's final interaction with the store reflects MUSINSA STANDARD service standards.
1. Store Operations
- Support store opening and closing procedures.
- Coordinate closely with Section Heads and floor teams during peak trading periods.
- Ensure promotions and pricing mechanics are correctly understood
- Point of Contact for stock counts
- Act as a member of the store's operational team.
- Support the Sales Associates, Cashier, Assistant Store Manager and Store Manager with other operational responsibilities when required.
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
- Performance will be measured against areas including:
- Transaction accuracy
- Cash variance / reconciliation accuracy
- Checkout waiting time and queue management
- Customer service standards
- Returns and exchange accuracy
- POS compliance
- Cashier productivity
- Transaction error rate
- Loss-prevention compliance
- Team attendance and performance
- End-of-day reconciliation accuracy
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree or relevant vocational qualification preferred.
- Minimum 2–3 years of retail back of house operations
- Experience handling high transaction volumes strongly preferred.
- Fashion, department store, specialty retail, supermarket, beauty, or lifestyle retail experience is an advantage.
- Comfortable working in a high-volume and fast-paced retail environment.
