Vehicle Stock Controller

Full-Time, Australian Business Hours, Remote (Philippines)

Cruise Control Group is seeking an experienced and highly organised Vehicle Stock Controller to keep vehicle stock moving smoothly from factory order through to customer delivery. This is a key operational role working across multiple brands, systems and departments within a busy multi-brand dealership.

About the Client

Our client is an Australian multi-brand automotive dealership, looking for an experienced Vehicle Stock Controller to support vehicle ordering, stock control and delivery coordination across its dealership operations.

About the Role

The Vehicle Stock Controller is responsible for keeping vehicle stock moving smoothly from factory order through to customer delivery across multiple brands. The role tracks factory orders, allocations, production and vehicle arrivals, and coordinates transport, transfers and dealer trades, while maintaining accurate stock records and managing floorplan, bailment and vehicle funding processes. It works closely across departments and externally, collaborating with Sales Managers, OEM representatives, transport providers, and finance and administration teams to keep vehicles, paperwork and payments moving in step and to resolve any discrepancies promptly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing vehicle orders and stock across multiple OEM systems
  • Tracking factory orders, allocations, production and vehicle arrivals
  • Coordinating vehicle transport, transfers and dealer trades
  • Maintaining accurate stock records and reconciliations
  • Managing floorplan, bailment and vehicle funding processes
  • Checking vehicle invoices, credits, rebates and support payments
  • Preparing stock, ageing and floorplan reports
  • Coordinating with OEMs, suppliers and internal departments
  • Identifying discrepancies and ensuring issues are resolved promptly

Desirable Skills

  • Knowledge of floorplan, bailment or vehicle costing

Essential Experience

  • Previous automotive dealership, stock control or administration experience
  • Experience with DMS and OEM systems

Desirable Experience

  • Knowledge of floorplan, bailment or vehicle costing is highly regarded
