About The Job Steel Welder
PURPOSE
Reporting to the SR Supervisor, the Welder is responsible for working within a team of employees responsible for the welding of ship components and structures with the minimum production time and maximum quality.
Essential
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- At least high school graduate with formal training in welding taken from an accredited training centre.
- Must be an class certified welder.
- At least 2 years experience in FCAW Welding for Marine Structural Applications
Desirable
- Confined Space Entry Experience/Training
- Working at Height Experience/Training
- Hot Work Certified
