The Role
This is a pivotal leadership position responsible for shaping the Group's financial direction, supporting strategic initiatives, and strengthening financial governance across all business entities.
The Group Finance Director will work closely with the CEO, CFO, and senior leadership team to
- Lead group-wide financial strategy and planning, aligning capital allocation with long-term growth priorities
- Support M&A activities, including deal structuring, valuation, and due diligence across diverse sectors
- Drive corporate development initiatives, identifying opportunities for expansion, divestment, and transformation
- Partner with business unit leaders to deliver commercial insights and performance optimisation
- Strengthen financial governance, controls, and reporting frameworks across multiple geographies
- Provide executive-level financial insights to inform key strategic decisions
- Champion a culture of accountability, operational excellence, and data-driven decision-making
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the annual strategic planning cycle, including scenario modelling and long-range planning
- Oversee financial due diligence processes for acquisitions, investments, and partnerships
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive integration efforts post-M&A
- Act as a key advisor to the C-suite on financial risks, opportunities, and market dynamics
- Ensure alignment of financial practices across business entities to group standards
- Mentor and develop a high-performing finance leadership team across the organisation
Your Profile
As the successful candidate, you will possess the following relevant skills sets and experience
- At least 15 years of experience in finance, of which minimum 5 years of proven track record in senior finance leadership role, ideally within large, complex, multi-business organisations
- Deep understanding of financial planning, capital management, and governance frameworks
- Strong exposure to strategy, M&A, and corporate finance at a regional or global level
- Demonstrated ability to influence executive stakeholders and operate at the board level
- Experience managing across multiple business units and geographies
- Strategic, commercially astute, and able to balance big-picture thinking with execution
- Professional finance qualification (e.g., CPA, CA) strongly preferred
