Statutory and Reporting Accountant

Job Summary:

A key role in statutory, regulatory, and financial reporting activities for a leading financial services organization. This position offers exposure to UK and Irish entities, external audit engagement, regulatory reporting, and finance transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare annual statutory accounts for UK and Irish entities.
• Support external audit processes and coordinate auditor requests.
• Assist with tax analysis and reporting requirements.
• Prepare and submit regulatory reporting to relevant authorities.
• Support month-end financial control activities, including testing and validation of financial estimates.
• Identify and implement process improvement opportunities.
• Act as the Manila point of contact for reporting-related matters.

Key Qualifications:

• Must be a CPA
• Experience preparing statutory financial statements under IFRS.
• Qualified, finalist, or qualified-by-experience (QBE) accountant.
• Strong analytical and Excel skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to take ownership of deliverables.
• Financial services experience is preferred.
• Exposure to regulatory reporting or tax reporting is advantageous.
• Willing to work on a mid-shift schedule
