You will be responsible for keeping our online community active, helping members connect with the right people and opportunities, and supporting initiatives that increase engagement and participation across our startup network.

You will work across community management, member engagement, content, events, and startup ecosystem outreach.

Responsibilities

Community Engagement

  • Manage day-to-day engagement across online community channels, including LinkedIn, email, community platforms, and messaging groups.
  • Welcome new members and help them understand how to participate in the community.
  • Start and facilitate conversations, discussions, polls, and other community activities.
  • Respond to member questions, comments, and requests in a timely and friendly manner.
  • Identify highly engaged members and opportunities to deepen their involvement.
  • Build relationships with founders, startups, investors, accelerators, universities, corporates, and ecosystem organizations.

Network Building

  • Identify and onboard relevant startups and ecosystem players to the network.
  • Maintain and regularly update the startup and member database.
  • Conduct outreach to founders and organizations through LinkedIn, email, and other channels.
  • Understand members needs and connect them with relevant opportunities, people, resources, or programmes.
  • Track community growth, member activity, and engagement.

Content and Communications

  • Help develop content that is useful and relevant to startup founders and ecosystem participants.
  • Create and schedule community posts, newsletters, announcements, and member updates.
  • Highlight interesting startups, founders, opportunities, events, and ecosystem developments.
  • Repurpose conversations and community insights into useful content.
  • Monitor trends and conversations across the startup ecosystem and bring relevant topics into the community.

Events Support

  • Support online and offline community events, founder meetups, webinars, workshops, and networking sessions.
  • Coordinate with speakers, partners, and participants.
  • Drive registrations and participation before events and maintain engagement afterwards.
  • Gather member feedback and identify ways to improve future activities.

Reporting

  • Monitor engagement metrics such as member growth, active members, post engagement, event participation, and newsletter performance.
  • Gather qualitative feedback from community members.
  • Identify what topics, formats, and activities generate the strongest engagement.
  • Prepare simple reports and recommendations for improving community growth and retention.
Qualifications
  • 1–3 years of experience in community management, marketing, communications, partnerships, events, customer success, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in startups, entrepreneurship, technology, innovation, or the broader startup ecosystem.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable communicating with founders, executives, and professionals online.
  • Naturally curious and proactive about meeting people and building relationships.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working independently and managing multiple conversations and activities at once.
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn and online communities.
  • Comfortable using digital tools such as Slack, Discord, Facebook Groups, LinkedIn, Mailchimp, Airtable, Notion, or similar platforms.
Apply if:

You are someone who can comfortably move between LinkedIn, a founder group chat, a spreadsheet, and a community event without losing track of what needs to happen next.

You don't need to be a hardcore marketer or a startup expert. We're looking for someone who is curious, personable, organized, digitally savvy, and genuinely enjoys connecting people.
