Job Description

A Staffing Manager plays a crucial role in managing the recruitment, placement, and overall human resources needs of an organization, ensures that the company has the right number of employees, with the right skills, in the right roles, to meet its goals, making it a critical function for business success.

Their responsibilities generally span across sourcing, hiring, and ensuring the right people are placed in roles that suit their skills and the company's needs.

Job Summary:

The Staffing Manager is responsible for overseeing the full staffing process, from onboarding and workforce management. This role involves collaborating with department heads to understand staffing needs, developing strategies and ensuring the company's workforce aligns with its strategic objectives. The Staffing Manager also plays a key role in talent development and retention strategies to reduce bench and ensure long-term staffing success.

Key Responsibilities:

Staffing Planning & Forecasting:

  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, HR and leadership to plan for future staffing needs based on business goals
  • Conduct workforce planning to align staff availability with operational requirements.
  • Analyze current staffing levels and make recommendations to address shortages or surpluses.

Workforce Management:

  • Monitor staffing levels and adjust schedules or assignments to meet operational demands.
  • Manage contingent workforce (temporary employees, freelancers) when needed.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and industry regulations.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Track key staffing metrics, such as bench, rotation, KPIs.
  • Use data to inform staffing strategies and make adjustments where necessary.
  • Present reports to senior management on staffing trends and outcomes.
  • Maintaining excellent data quality in the system.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Creating and maintaining complex spreadsheets, analyzing data, and generating reports (Excel skills)
  • 3-5 years of experience in workforce, staffing, or capacity planning management.
  • Proven track record in workforce planning.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Fluency in English

Work Arrangement:

  • Onsite schedule of 2–3 days per week at the Mall of Asia Business Complex
  • Must be amenable to work on shifting schedules including graveyard shift
