What You'll Do

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior C++ or C# Developer with 10+ years of expertise in building scalable and high-performance applications, ideally in the context of SaaS product- Cove Data Protection hosted on AWS. This is a critical role in our engineering team, where you will contribute to the architecture, design, and development of our flagship SaaS offering from N-able in the cybersecurity domain. You will be instrumental in driving technical excellence, mentoring developers, and ensuring our software meets the highest standards of quality, performance, and reliability

• Architect, design, and develop advanced software components and features using modern C++ (C++11/14/17 or later)
• Lead the design and implementation of scalable, cloud-native solutions on AWS infrastructure
• Drive performance optimization, memory management, and system efficiency
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, Product Management, and QA to deliver high-quality releases
• Set coding standards and conduct design/code reviews to ensure maintainable and scalable solutions
• Mentor and guide junior and mid-level engineers in technical areas and software best practices
• Ensure high standards of security, reliability, and availability for SaaS applications
• Stay up to date with industry trends, tools, and technologies, and evaluate their relevance to ongoing and future projects
  
  

What You'll Bring

• 10+ years of hands-on development experience with C++ or C# including deep knowledge of object-oriented design, STL, multithreading, and performance tuning
• Experience with building and deploying SaaS products in AWS (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, CloudFormation, etc.)
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture, containerization (Docker), and orchestration tools (Kubernetes is a plus)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and build tools (CMake, etc.)
• Proven ability to analyse complex systems and troubleshoot difficult problems
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to take ownership and drive initiatives end-to-end
