Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced Staff Process Engineer – Chip attach and Mold Process Engr. to support the full deployment of Deca's technology package at customer sites.

In this highly consultative and hands-on role, you will serve as the process subject matter expert (SME) during:

  • New equipment installation
  • Process deployment
  • Technology transfer to customer manufacturing lines
  • Line qualification and production ramp

You will work directly with customer engineering and operations teams to ensure successful adoption of Deca's processes achieving target yield, reliability, and performance metric

Major Duties:

  • Serve as the primary process technical consultant for Mold and Chip attach processes supporting Deca clients during technology deployment and qualification
  • Guide customers through installation, setup, and validation of process equipment in alignment with Deca standards
  • Support customers in implementing Deca's process technology, including recipes, controls, and best practices
  • Partner with client engineering teams to achieve qualification milestones for yield, reliability, and performance
  • Provide hands-on troubleshooting and expert consultation during pilot builds and production ramp
  • Analyze customer process data, identify gaps, and recommend corrective and preventive actions
  • Advise on chemical control, contamination management, and process stability to ensure long-term manufacturability
  • Develop and review qualification documentation, including FMEAs, control plans, and improvement action plans
  • Build strong technical relationships with client teams to ensure sustained success after deployment

Ideal Qualifications:

  • 8+ years experience in Process Engineering
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or another relevant field
  • Training and practical experience in statistical methods and preventative maintenance
  • Familiarity with FMEA, DOEs, 8Ds and other structured engineering approaches
  • Excellent English communication skills
  • Willingness to travel
  • Experience in building an organization which provides exceptional factory support
