Job description:
The Oracle Database Operations Analyst ensures high performance, security, and scalability of Oracle solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-grade systems. This role often combines elements of database administration, performance analysis, and operational support.
- Provide support to application developers and other stakeholders regarding database access and performance
- Perform troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning of Oracle applications
- Ensure compliance with security standards and data governance policies
- Document technical specifications, workflows, and system configurations
- Support migration projects, including upgrades to Oracle Cloud or newer versions.
- Provide production support and resolve incidents within SLA timelines
- Collaborate with other IT teams to resolve database-related issues
Profile description:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proficiency in Oracle Database Administration (Oracle 11g and up)
- Oracle APEX, TomCat/Apache Administration
- Linux, network, and storage Administration
- Understanding of database security best practices
- Familiarity with backup and recovery strategies
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with database performance monitoring and tuning tools
