Staff AI Engineer Director

Role Summary:

Serve as the technical anchor for the AI engineering team. You will lead architecture decisions for multi-agent systems, set engineering standards, and mentor a growing team of agentic engineers. This is a hands-on leadership role: you write code, review code, and set the technical direction while the Senior Director handles the VP-level strategy and stakeholder management.

Required Competencies:

• 7+ years software engineering experience, including 2+ years in AI/ML engineering
• Strong Python and system architecture expertise
• Proven experience building and deploying LLM-powered applications at scale
• Experience with agent frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI, or similar)
• Strong cloud experience (Azure preferred), including modern deployment patterns
• Experience with MLOps, model serving, monitoring, and optimization
• Strong leadership and mentoring experience.
• Amenable to work on the night shift schedule (9 PM - 6 AM).
• Willing to work in Makati City and on a hybrid set-up (4x a month).
