Staff Accountant

We're looking for an experienced accountant to join our team and take ownership of our financial records. If you have a strong background in US healthcare accounting and know how to keep the books accurate, compliant, and strictly organized, we want to hear from you. We prefer someone who can jump right in to manage the daily financial data and provide clear insights to our management team.

Responsibilities

- Handle general bookkeeping tasks and keep our records accurate and organized

- Perform bank, credit card, and other account reconciliations

- Research and resolve any accounting discrepancies that pop up

- Carry out internal audits and reviews to ensure we are staying compliant with our internal policies

- Review and categorize expenses to make sure they align with our budget and financial guidelines

- Prepare monthly financial reports for our management team and stakeholders

- Process payroll chargebacks and other pertinent transactions

- Post daily expenses and manage financial entries

- Support additional accounting functions and tackle ad hoc projects as assigned them

Qualifications

- 3 to 5 years of proven experience in US healthcare accounting

- A strong understanding of core accounting principles and financial reporting

- Proficiency in Sage Intacct (this is highly preferred)

- Excellent analytical skills and a sharp attention to detail

- A self-motivated mindset with strong time management abilities

- Full-time schedule working US Pacific business hours
