Senior Technical Sourcer

Icon Technologies is a boutique IT and AI recruitment agency. We place senior and lead engineers at startups and software companies across North America. We're a small team, and your work feeds directly into placements.

The role

You own top-of-funnel sourcing. You find, research, and engage senior engineers, then hand the details to our recruiters. This is a pure sourcing role: no candidate calls, no client work.

What you'll do

• Build targeted talent lists for senior and lead engineering, AI/ML, and infrastructure roles
• Run outbound campaigns using Clay, Smartlead, and LinkedIn Recruiter
• Write personalized outreach that earns replies from passive engineers
• Keep Ashby (our ATS) accurate and report on pipeline weekly

What you bring

• 3+ years sourcing technical talent, ideally for US/Canadian clients
• Proven success sourcing senior engineers, not just volume
• Strong Boolean and X-ray search skills, plus outbound sequencing experience
• Excellent written English
• Available [X hours] overlap with Eastern Time
• Bonus: agency background, AI/ML hiring

Compensation and terms

• 35 hours per week, remote
• $14 CAD/hour
• 5% commission on placements you originate
• Independent contractor
