Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee day-to-day IT operations, ensuring the availability, reliability, and performance of IT infrastructure and business-critical applications.
- Provide first and second-level technical support for hardware, software, network, server, and communication-related issues.
- Manage and support Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Transport Management Systems (TMS), ensuring minimal downtime and business continuity.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve IT incidents and service requests within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Ensure the continuous operation of network infrastructure, servers, workstations, printers, mobile devices, and other IT peripherals.
- Act as the primary point of contact for site IT support and coordinate escalations with regional and global IT teams when necessary.
- Lead an d supervise local IT personnel, ensuring effective performance, accountability, and adherence to IT procedures and standards.
- Coordinate with vendors, telecommunications providers, and third-party support teams for issue resolution, maintenance, and service delivery.
- Manage user access, account administration, security permissions, and compliance with IT security policies.
- Maintain IT asset inventories, including computers, mobile devices, software licenses, and fixed assets.
- Ensure compliance with corporate IT policies, cybersecurity requirements, audit controls, and regulatory standards.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and regular health checks on IT systems and equipment to minimize operational disruptions.
- Prepare and maintain IT documentation, reports, master lists, and operational checklists.
- Analyze recurring issues and implement process improvements to enhance system stability and service quality.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand operational requirements and recommend technology solutions.
- Support IT projects, system upgrades, software deployments, infrastructure enhancements, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Monitor IT performance metrics and provide regular status updates and recommendations to site and business leadership.
Requirements
- Graduate of at least 4 year course of Computer Science (CS), Information Technology (IT), Application Development (AD), Computer Systems Engineering (CSE), or related courses.
- At least 2 to 4 yrs of extensive IT related working experience.
- Excellent Systems and Network Infrastructure and Analytical Skills
- Can do multi-tasking and know how to prioritize, with minimal supervision
