Job Description
The Senior Systems Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and optimizing the organization's IT infrastructure. This role ensures the reliability, security, scalability, and performance of servers, networks, cloud environments, and enterprise systems. The Senior Systems Engineer serves as a technical expert, leads infrastructure projects, mentors junior team members, and supports business operations through effective technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-level IT infrastructure, including servers, storage systems, networks, and cloud platforms.
Monitor and optimize system performance, availability, and security.
Lead infrastructure deployment, migration, and upgrade projects.
Manage virtualization environments, cloud services, and disaster recovery solutions.
Develop and implement system security policies, procedures, and best practices.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to hardware, software, and network systems.
Perform capacity planning and recommend infrastructure improvements.
Ensure data backup, business continuity, and disaster recovery processes are maintained and tested regularly.
