About the Role
We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our engineering team in the Philippines. You'll play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining scalable software solutions used by organizations worldwide. As a senior member of the team, you'll lead the delivery of complex features, drive engineering excellence, mentor fellow developers, and contribute to an AI-first software development environment.
What You'll Do
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of complex features and technical initiatives.
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality applications using Java
- Champion engineering best practices, code quality, and clean architecture principles.
- Drive Test-Driven Development (TDD) and ensure strong automated test coverage.
- Conduct meaningful code reviews and mentor junior and mid-level engineers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, reliable solutions.
- Support production systems, troubleshoot incidents, and implement long-term fixes.
- Contribute to CI/CD improvements and AI-powered development practices.
- Participate in technical design discussions and influence engineering direction.
Required skills/experience:
- Strong experience in Java development.
- Deep understanding of software design patterns, clean architecture, and modern development practices.
- Proven experience with TDD, automated testing, and code quality standards.
- Experience working with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong troubleshooting and production support capabilities.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and mentoring skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and event-driven architectures.
- Knowledge of security-focused software design.
- Experience contributing to architecture decisions or technical leadership initiatives.
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools.
