Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior ServiceNow Developer with a strong focus on Business Continuity Management (BCM) and Integrated Risk Management (IRM) to join our growing team. This role requires a technical expert who can design, develop, and deploy customized solutions within the ServiceNow platform, specifically leveraging the capabilities of BCM and IRM. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business processes, improve service delivery, and mitigate risks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of ServiceNow solutions related to BCM and IRM modules, including Business Continuity, Risk Management, and Incident Response functionalities.
- Customize and configure ServiceNow applications, including creating custom workflows, business rules, UI policies, UI actions, and notifications to address specific business needs in BCM and IRM.
- Develop and maintain BCM-related features such as business impact analysis (BIA), continuity plans, and disaster recovery (DR) processes within ServiceNow.
- Implement IRM features like risk assessments, risk registers, policy management, and compliance tracking using ServiceNow IRM capabilities.
- Provide end-to-end implementation support for BCM and IRM processes, including requirements gathering, gap analysis, design, testing, and deployment.
- Integrate ServiceNow with other enterprise systems, ensuring seamless data flow and process integration across platforms.
- Develop custom reports and dashboards to track and monitor BCM and IRM performance metrics.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to ServiceNow BCM and IRM implementations.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to ensure the solutions meet business objectives, improve operational efficiency, and reduce organizational risk.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers and other team members on ServiceNow best practices and development techniques.
- Stay updated with the latest ServiceNow features, functionalities, and industry best practices related to BCM and IRM.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development, with a focus on BCM, GRC and IRM.
- Strong proficiency in ServiceNow platform development, including ServiceNow Studio, scripting (JavaScript, GlideScript), and ServiceNow modules.
- Expertise in Business Continuity Management (BCM) processes and frameworks, including Disaster Recovery, Business Impact Analysis (BIA), and Continuity Planning.
- In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Integrated Risk Management (IRM) modules in ServiceNow, including Risk Management, Policy and Compliance Management, Audit Management, and Incident Response.
- Strong understanding of ITIL processes and how they integrate with ServiceNow.
- Experience with ServiceNow integrations, including APIs, web services, and integration with third-party systems.
- Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Skills:
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in BCM or IRM.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology.
- Knowledge of additional ServiceNow modules (e.g., ITSM, ITOM, SecOps).
