Job Summary
- Responsible for managing potential and actual loan defaults, primarily focused on the mitigation
- and reduction of the Non-Performing Loans of the Bank through timely, efficient and effective loan
- restructures, litigation processes and other mediums of loan rehabilitation, recovery and
- collection.
How will you contribute
- 1. Evaluates borrower's financial and debt service capacities, reasons for loan delinquency,
- quality of loan documentation and credit files and information. Further, obtains, monitors
- and updates client's documents and reports (i.e. financial statements) required for the
- assessment and review of the account. Inspects client's business and verifies that the
- client's representations on the status of the business are in fact truthful.
- 2. Formulates various scenarios geared towards the immediate resolution of each assigned
- account and monitors and coordinates the timely updating of appraisal reports and credit
- investigation reports according to the prescribed frequency.
- 3. Negotiates with clients for a repayment scheme and sets terms and conditions and
- obtains client's concurrence with the mutually-acceptable plan. Then, prepares and submits
- recommendation memo covering the proposed repayment program for approval by the
- approving authority.
- 4. Implements approved repayment packages and monitors compliance with the approved
- terms and conditions. Coordinates with Operations Group and other units the timely records
- and documents updating while facilitates and monitors account movements which includes
- loan payment applications, insurance premium payment, property tax payment among
- others.
- 5. Coordinates with Litigation Department on the implementation of legal recovery plans,
- including filing of the appropriate cases, foreclosure of mortgages, replevin and attachment,
- and other legal recourses.
- 6. Represents the Bank in Creditors meetings and coordinates with authorized
- representatives of other creditor banks and/or regulatory agencies for accounts under loan
- syndication/consortium arrangements.
- 7. Prepares and submits reports concerning the loan portfolio being managed (including but
- not limited to portfolio masterlist, account profiles, status updates, etc.) and other periodic
- reports that may be required by senior management and ensures completeness and
- accuracy of all reported data, verifies veracity of data and information source.
What will make you successful
- -College graduate, preferably business or economics course
- - Working knowledge of basic account management,
- basic documentation, legal procedures and practices,
- negotiations, policies, practical business orientation,
- remedial management, risk management and
- technical expertise; well-versed in BIR, SEC and BSP
- Regulations
- -At least six (6) years of banking experience preferably
- in the area of lending, account management,
- remedial management, and/or credit analysis
- -Negotiations and financial analysis skills; computer
- literate (Word and Excel)
