This is a contract-based position (3 to 6 months) with a strong opportunity to become permanent, based on performance and business needs

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with hiring managers, supervisors, and site leaders to understand workforce needs, production timelines, and skill requirements
  • Design and execute hands-on sourcing strategies tailored to skilled trades, including direct sourcing, referrals, trade networks, and local market outreach
  • Screen and assess candidates for technical skills, certifications, safety awareness, and work-site readiness
  • Maintain accurate candidate pipelines and provide regular progress updates to stakeholders
  • Support coordination of onboarding, start dates, and compliance requirements in collaboration with the wider RPO team

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in full-cycle blue-collar recruitment
  • Proven experience recruiting welders and fabricators (aluminum experience strongly preferred)
  • Experience in recruiting pipefitters or similar skilled trades is a strong asset
  • Background in shipbuilding, marine, heavy industry, manufacturing, or fabrication environments preferred
  • Strong sourcing skills for trade and hourly roles, including proactive outreach and non-traditional channels
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-volume recruitment environment
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and results-driven

Job Offer

  • Contract position of 3 to 6 months, with a clear opportunity to transition into a permanent role
  • Competitive compensation package, commensurate with experience
  • Fully remote working arrangement
  • Opportunity to work on a strategic, high-impact industrial project within a global RPO environment
