Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.

Strong background in engineering and procurement.

Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.

Proven track record of managing supplier relationships and achieving cost savings.

Experience with procurement software and tools.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance requirements.

Experience with risk management and mitigation strategies.

Ability to lead and mentor a team.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

Experience with ERP systems is a plus.

Ability to travel as needed.

Professional certification in procurement or supply chain management is preferred.

Strong project management skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Lead procurement activities and manage the procurement team.

Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize supply chain processes.

Identify and evaluate potential suppliers to ensure they meet quality and performance standards.

Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to achieve cost savings and favorable terms.

Monitor market trends and analyze data to make informed procurement decisions.

Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and finance departments to align procurement strategies with company goals.

Manage supplier relationships and address any issues or concerns that arise.

Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.

Develop and maintain procurement documentation, including contracts, purchase orders, and supplier records.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement processes and efficiency.

Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to minimize supply chain disruptions.

Provide training and support to procurement team members.

Prepare and present procurement reports to senior management.

Participate in cross-functional teams to support new product development and other projects.

Manage inventory levels and optimize stock management processes.

Evaluate and implement procurement software and tools to streamline operations.

Ensure timely delivery of materials and services to meet production schedules.

Monitor supplier performance and conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external.

Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in procurement and supply chain management.
