Your Role
The Platform Team is a core part of the Common Platforms function, working closely with Integration, RPA, Platform Engineering, and Data Engineering delivery teams.
This role presents an opportunity for the right candidate to help deliver DevOps and Cloud Engineering best practices while building, operating, and supporting next-generation systems in a cost-effective and scalable manner.
The successful candidate will bring 7+ years of experience in a complex Windows- and Azure-based corporate environment, delivering solutions across DevOps, Terraform, CI/CD, security, automation, and platform engineering within a medium to large enterprise ecosystem. You will be comfortable engaging with a broad range of technical and non-technical stakeholders and equally willing to contribute to both delivery and production support.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
- Deliver Platform Engineering pipelines and PaaS solutions across MMS cloud platforms (primarily Azure)
- Support application development teams in implementing CI/CD best practices
- Develop and integrate automation across all aspects of DevOps
- Ensure security and governance are embedded throughout the development lifecycle
- Stay current with emerging DevOps and cloud technologies
Technology Experience
Mandatory
- Provisioning and operating Azure infrastructure using Terraform
- Strong Microsoft Azure experience, including access management, security, debugging, deployments, PaaS services, and AI concepts
- GitHub expertise, including pipelines, Actions, branching strategies, and CI/CD
- Scripting experience with PowerShell and/or Bash
- Cloud security and DevSecOps practices
- Automation and deployment experience using YAML-based CI/CD pipelines
- Understanding of cloud reliability and SRE concepts (observability, availability, and resiliency patterns)
- Experience gained predominantly within Financial Services or FinTech environments
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related STEM field
Preferred
- Azure DevOps administration experience
- Exposure to Dynatrace
- Experience with Cloudflare
- Knowledge of APIM, PIM, and RBAC
- Experience using SonarCloud
- Exposure to AI landing zones, GenAI, and MCP server configuration
- Software development background
- Experience with event-driven architectures
- Experience designing and consuming REST-based APIs
- Microsoft Certified DevOps Engineer certification
