We are looking for an experienced Building Fit-Out Planning Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction planning and project management, specifically in interior fit-out projects within the AEC industry. This role requires excellent knowledge of project scheduling, resource planning, and coordination with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure on-time delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed project schedules and work programs for building fit-out projects.
- Prepare and update progress reports, manpower forecasts, and resource allocation plans.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and project managers to ensure timely execution.
- Monitor project milestones, identify risks, and propose solutions to keep projects on track.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and client specifications.
- Support the project team in cost planning, procurement schedules, and material tracking.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Planning Engineer in building fit-out or interior construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of project planning software (Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar).
- Good understanding of construction sequencing, fit-out materials, and methodologies.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with international clients or in a remote setup.
- Familiarity with commercial, retail, or office fit-out projects.
- Knowledge of cost control and value engineering.
