Requirements
Bachelor's degree in supply chain, operations, engineering, business, or a related field.
Several years of experience in production control, demand planning, or supply chain management.
Strong knowledge of ERP, MRP, and master scheduling processes in a manufacturing environment.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional planning initiatives and operational teams.
Advanced analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and planning or reporting tools.
Experience with sales and operations planning, inventory optimization, and capacity planning.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to interpret data and translate insights into practical operational actions.
Experience improving planning accuracy and process discipline in complex environments.
Responsibilities
Preferred experience with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies.
Lead the master production scheduling process to align demand, capacity, and inventory objectives.
Develop and refine demand forecasts using historical data, market trends, and commercial input.
Coordinate cross-functional sales and operations planning meetings and drive decision-making.
Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to reduce excess, obsolete, and shortage risks.
Partner with procurement and manufacturing teams to address material constraints and production bottlenecks.
Establish and track key planning metrics such as forecast accuracy, schedule adherence, and inventory turns.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives in ERP, MRP, and planning workflows.
Manage and mentor production planners, demand planners, or scheduling staff.
Create scenario analyses to support business decisions during demand or supply disruptions.
Present planning performance, risks, and recommendations to senior leadership.
