Job Description

Position Title: Senior Key Account & Client Management Specialist (Individual Contributor)

Role Purpose

Responsible for driving key account and client management initiatives to retain, strengthen, and expand customer relationships. This role focuses on delivering high-quality customer engagement, resolving issues effectively, and supporting strategic account growth through collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and execute Key Account & Client Management strategies to retain and strengthen existing client relationships.
  • Deliver high-quality customer service and issue resolution, ensuring timely and effective responses to client needs.
  • Lead and execute client engagement activities, including identifying client business requirements and preparing proposals and quotations.
  • Contribute to the development, administration, and continuous improvement of processes, programs, and policies related to Key Account & Client Management.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support industry-specific relationship management activities and enable effective orchestration of customer-facing roles.
  • Interpret customer and market insights to support relationship expansion and long-term account value creation.

Role Differentiators

  • Recognized subject matter expert within the job area, typically gained through advanced education and extensive work experience.
  • Manages large and/or complex projects and owns end-to-end processes with minimal supervision.
  • Leads or contributes to process improvement and process design initiatives, applying a broad perspective to solve complex problems.
  • Interprets internal and external business issues and recommends best practices and solutions.
  • Typically reports to M3 / M4 level management.
  • Progression to this level is based on business requirements.

Management Responsibility

  • Primarily an individual contributor, accountable for a critical subject-matter area or discipline.
  • May occasionally manage up to two employees, including outsourced or project-based resources (e.g., external consultants).
  • When managing others, responsibilities focus on work coordination, knowledge sharing, coaching, and mentoring, rather than full project delegation.
  • May direct work, train, coach, and review the output of junior employees.
  • Supports the management of processes and programs within the function.

Stakeholder Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams, specialist departments, and external service providers.
  • Influence stakeholders to adopt new concepts, practices, and approaches.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and concepts to leadership and company committees.
  • Establish strong, trusted partnerships with Galderma managers and internal stakeholders.
  • Understand customer and key stakeholder needs, concerns, and priorities, and provide appropriate solutions and guidance.
  • Provide technical and functional guidance to line managers and employees when required.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Experience: 812 years of relevant experience in Key Account Management, Client Management, or related commercial roles.
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree, or equivalent professional experience and qualifications.
