Key of Qualifications:
- Over 5 years of experience as a Java Developer, specializing in building scalable applications and RESTful Microservices using Java 8, Spring Boot, and REST APIs.
- Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including Agile and Waterfall methodologies, with hands-on experience in beta testing and version management using Maven.
- Proficient in reading and writing technical documentation, including Javadocs, API documents, Swagger specifications, and open-source tool documentation.
- Skilled in debugging Java programs, performing API testing using Postman, and writing automated tests with JUnit for robust code quality.
- Experienced in working with PostgreSQL, including writing queries, managing schemas, and supporting backend data operations.
- Knowledgeable in Open Source Erlang, Java core/fundamentals, and best practices for building reliable, maintainable, and testable systems.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain secure APIs and Database Tables following software development best practices
- Participate with the team on Scrum Events
- Demonstrate in writing robust and reusable codes adhering to software best practices and design patterns
- Research on the latest software libraries by creating POC builds
- Develop API test for back-end services passing code coverage standards Test quality of output before hand over to SIT and UAT
- Problem solving with stakeholders to come up with best approach
- Collaborate in development of bank standards as appropriate Performs other duties as may be assigned from time to time
- Directly Reporting to IPI Operation Supervisor/Marketing Consultant
