Role Description This full-time, on-site role is based in Taguig City and is responsible for leading mechanical design and estimation activities for building and ICT facility projects. The Sr. Head Mechanical Design and Estimate Engineer will oversee the preparation of mechanical system designs, drawings, and specifications, ensuring compliance with codes, standards, and project requirements. The role includes developing cost estimates, bills of quantities, and technical proposals, as well as coordinating with project managers, other engineering disciplines, and contractors. Daily tasks involve reviewing designs, conducting site inspections, guiding junior engineers and technicians, and supporting maintenance planning for mechanical systems. The engineer will also collaborate with vendors, review equipment selections, and contribute to continuous improvement of design and estimation processes.
Qualifications
  • Mechanical Engineering expertise, including strong knowledge of building mechanical systems and relevant codes and standards.
  • Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for creating and reviewing mechanical layouts, schematics, and detailed drawings.
  • Experience in Maintenance planning and implementation for mechanical equipment and systems in building or industrial environments.
  • Inspection skills for assessing mechanical installations, system performance, and compliance with design and safety requirements.
  • Background in Automotive or related mechanical fields is an advantage, especially in understanding complex mechanical components.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline; professional licensure or certification is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, estimation, and cost-control abilities, with experience preparing bids, budgets, and technical proposals.
  • Effective leadership and communication skills, with the ability to supervise teams and coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and relevant engineering software; familiarity with MEPF and building management systems is a plus.
