Position Overview
Bureau Veritas seeks an experienced
Senior Geodetic Engineer to lead geodetic surveying and positioning projects across infrastructure and construction sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and oversee geodetic surveys, GPS/GNSS operations, and control networks
- Lead survey teams and manage complex, multi-disciplinary projects
- Ensure compliance with geodetic standards (ISO 19100 series)
- Prepare technical reports and project deliverables
- Mentor junior engineers and serve as primary client contact
- Advise on geodetic methodologies and best practices
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Geodesy, Surveying, or Civil Engineering
- Licensed Geodetic Engineer (PE/PLS) or equivalent
- Minimum 10 years of professional geodetic engineering experience
- Proficiency with survey equipment (GPS/GNSS, total stations, laser scanning)
- Strong knowledge of coordinate systems, datums, and spatial reference frameworks
- Experience with geodetic software (Trimble, Leica, ArcGIS)
- Excellent project management and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- LiDAR and photogrammetry experience
- Infrastructure or construction surveying background
- BIM workflow familiarity
- International project experience
