Job Description

Role: Sr. Finance Manager (Associate Director)

Office: Makati

Work days: Mon to Friday

Work Hours: 8:30am to 6pm

Job Summary

The Sr. Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the company's financial health by managing financial planning, reporting, budgeting, and internal controls. This role partners closely with senior management to support strategic decision-making, ensure compliance, and drive financial efficiency and profitability

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with accounting standards
  • Develop, manage, and monitor budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans
  • Perform financial analysis and variance analysis; provide actionable insights to management
  • Oversee cash flow management, working capital, and banking relationships
  • Ensure timely and accurate management reporting and presentation to senior leadership
  • Manage and strengthen internal controls, policies, and financial procedures
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, statutory requirements, and audit processes
  • Coordinate with external auditors, regulators, and internal stakeholders
  • Evaluate investment opportunities, capital expenditures, and cost optimization initiatives
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounting team
  • Support business strategy through financial modeling and scenario analysis

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, ACCA) is strongly preferred
  • Minimum 10 to 15++ years of progressive finance or accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and taxation
  • Experience with ERP systems and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities
  • High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
