The Senior Copywriter is responsible for leading the development of compelling, conversion-driven, and brand-aligned content across mobile commerce platforms. This role creates high-impact copy for app campaigns, push notifications, SMS, in-app messaging, digital ads, product launches, social commerce, and customer lifecycle communications.
The ideal candidate combines strong creative storytelling with performance marketing expertise, understands mobile consumer behavior, and can translate business objectives into content that drives engagement, acquisition, retention, and sales.

Responsibilities
- Content Strategy & Copy Development
- Develop strategic and persuasive copy across mobile commerce touchpoints including:
- Mobile app campaigns
- Push notifications
- SMS marketing
- In-app messaging
- Mobile landing pages
- Product pages
- Performance ads
- Social commerce campaigns
- CRM and retention campaigns
- Translate brand messaging into mobile-first content optimized for engagement and conversion.
- Maintain consistency in tone of voice across all customer-facing communications.
- Campaign Execution
- Lead copy development for promotional campaigns, product launches, seasonal activations, and retention initiatives.
- Create high-converting headlines, CTAs, product descriptions, and ad copy.
- Collaborate with design, growth, product, and CRM teams to execute integrated campaigns.
- Performance Optimization
- Develop multiple copy variations for A/B testing.
- Analyze campaign performance metrics and optimize messaging based on data insights.
- Improve conversion rates, click-through rates, open rates, and customer engagement.
- Brand Leadership
- Act as a guardian of brand voice and messaging standards.
- Mentor junior copywriters and content creators.
- Review and approve copy before publication.
- Market & Consumer Insights
- Stay updated on mobile commerce trends, consumer behavior, and digital content best practices.
- Conduct competitor and market research to identify content opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Advertising, or related field.
- Minimum 5–8 years of copywriting experience, with at least 2 years in e-commerce, m-commerce, or digital marketing.
- Strong portfolio showcasing digital, mobile, and performance marketing campaigns.
- Experience writing for customer acquisition, engagement, and retention funnels.
