About The Role
We are currently looking for a
Sr. Contract/Procurement Specialist who has prior experience of working on large-scale, complex infrastructure projects. The role is primarily responsible for assisting and supervising the project construction supervision of Nalua Baherchar Bridge (1.5 km Steel Arch Bridge) over the river Pandab-Paira at 27th km of Barishal (Dinerapool)-Laxmipasha-Dumki road
Job Responsibilities
- Assist the Team Leader and the Deputy Team Leader in administering and managing the Civil Work Contracts in accordance with their roles as defined in the contract
- Establish Supervision Methodology Manual/ Contract Administration Manual
- Quality Assurance and Quality Control Procedure Plan and Manual
- Review Contractor's Submission as per Contract
- Review and audit the contractor's quality management plan (QMP) and quality system
- Assure the receipt of and maintain as permanent records of all warranties required under terms and conditions of contract
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering / construction science, post graduate degree preferred
- Minimum 20 years of professional experience in related field
- Minimum 15 years of experience in contract administration in highway/bridge project in ICB contract
- Experience with Development partner funded projects (I.e. WB, ADB, JICA, OFID etc.)
