Role Summary
We are seeking a Cloud Services Engineer with strong Azure infrastructure expertise to manage, support, and optimize enterprise cloud environments. The role focuses on cloud operations, automation, networking, backup and recovery, patch management, incident resolution, and infrastructure security across Azure, with exposure to AWS being highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support Azure cloud infrastructure, networking, storage, and security services.
- Perform troubleshooting, incident response, root cause analysis, and operational support.
- Administer Backup & Recovery, Azure Site Recovery, Azure Update Manager, and cloud monitoring solutions.
- Implement automation using PowerShell, Azure CLI, and Azure services.
- Support hybrid cloud and on-premise environments across Windows, Linux, and database platforms.
- Manage cloud networking, firewall configurations, connectivity, and access controls.
- Participate in disaster recovery testing, patching activities, and continuous service improvements.
- Support AWS operational tasks including monitoring, backups, IAM, networking, and infrastructure maintenance.
Required Skills
- Strong Azure infrastructure administration experience.
- Experience with Azure Backup, Site Recovery, Entra ID, Networking, and Firewalls.
- Expertise in Azure Update Manager and patch orchestration.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across Azure, Windows, Linux, databases, and on-prem environments.
- PowerShell and Azure CLI scripting experience.
- Strong networking and connectivity troubleshooting skills.
Nice to Have
- Azure Logic Apps, Event Hub, Event Grid, API Management.
- AKS administration and troubleshooting.
- SQL Database administration.
- Azure DevOps CI/CD experience.
- AWS cloud operations experience.
- Microsoft and/or AWS certifications.
