Job Description

Job Responsibilities

The role involves:

  • Work within AWS and Azure cloud network solutions.
  • Utilize PowerShell for automation and network management tasks.
  • Perform integration work to ensure seamless connectivity and interoperability.
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues.
  • Ensure network security and compliance with industry standards.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior network engineers.

Citrix-Specific Duties:

  • Design, deploy, and manage Citrix environments, including XenApp, XenDesktop, and Citrix Cloud.
  • Optimize Citrix infrastructure for performance, security, and user experience.
  • Implement Citrix Profile Management and Citrix Provisioning Services (PVS).
  • Utilize Citrix Director for real-time monitoring and diagnostics.
  • Manage Citrix StoreFront and Citrix Gateway configurations.
  • Conduct regular updates and patch management for Citrix components.
  • Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for Citrix-related issues.
  • Utilize AI tools to improve automation and reporting initiatives, troubleshooting and metrics.

Job Qualifications

  • 10+ years of Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktop (Citrix Cloud DAAS) experience with 5+ years in a sr. role as a technical architect or lead
  • 1-2 years hands-on experience with Citrix cloud platforms in particular for hosting Citrix virtual machines.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g. AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Citrix Certified Professional).
  • Strong knowledge with NetScaler (GSLB, Load Balancer, Gateway, Secure Remote Access),
  • Strong knowledge with Citrix Core Components Storefront, Cloud Connectors, DAAS Director.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting (CVAD task automation, Windows Powershell, AWS CLI)
  • Experience designing and architecting Disaster Recovery sites and failovers

Citrix-Specific Experience:

  • Extensive experience with Citrix Environments including architecting, engineering, managing, and optimizing the CVAD Ecosystem.
  • Experience working with Citrix Cloud with AWS EC2 or Microsoft Azure architecture
  • Extensive experience with implementing security measures aligned with the company standards
  • Extensive experience with automation (Powershell) for CVAD DAAS task automation
  • Proven track record of optimizing Citrix environments for performance and security.
