The Sr. Automation Engineer will spearhead the development and implementation of automation solutions across all plants. Will architect the digital transformation, standardization of control architectures, and lead high-impact upgrades, bridging the gap between high-level strategy and technical excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership: Drive the development and implementation of cutting-edge automation solutions across our entire plant network.
- Standardization: Establish and enforce unified automation platforms, best practices, and control architectures to ensure seamless cross-site operations.
- Project Oversight: Lead the coordination of multi-site upgrades, system retrofits, and the commissioning of advanced drive systems.
- Expert Troubleshooting: Provides expert-level support to plant-level personnel for complex system failures.
- Operational Excellence: Develop proactive preventive maintenance strategies and report on key KPIs, including downtime analysis and system performance.
- Vendor Management: Interface with system integrators and vendors to ensure project delivery aligns with company standards and budgets.
- Future-Proofing: Support cybersecurity and data integrity initiatives to protect our connected control systems and industrial IoT infrastructure.
- Mentorship: Train and elevate plant automation teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical mastery.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics or Mechatronics preferred).
- At least 5 years of proven experience in industrial automation, specifically within a multi-plant or large-scale manufacturing environment.
- Deep familiarity with Level 2 Automation (Process Models, Production Tracking, and Recipe Management).
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for stakeholders at all levels.
- Mobility: Must be based in or amenable to assignment in Meycauayan, Bulacan, with a willingness to perform regular plant visits.
