Job Description

Job Summary:

Primarily responsible in ensuring acquisition targets are met set forth by the management by means of overseeing and managing the evaluation, review, due diligence of properties prior to acquisition. Then in executing timely post acquisition paper-work as required for each project.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the acquisition unit in ensuring completeness and accuracy of due diligence documents and other requirements with the objective of acquiring properties based on the target set forth by the management.
  2. Train, communicate and delegate the following to team members:
  3. Necessary technical, legal, political and financial due diligence of acquisitions
  4. Review and evaluation of properties prior acquisition and due diligence of property related documents (i.e., titles, Tax Declaration, CTC's, technical permits upto successful LTS or renewal of LTS)
  5. Assessment of current transaction processes and streamline new initiatives as necessary
  6. Proper analysis, interpretation of data & identify risks while expected to suggest solutions to the VP of Business Development.
  7. Develop and implement guidelines related to the land and property acquisition.
  8. Recommend improvements regarding processes.
  9. Deal with external stakeholders that might affect the acquisition process including but not limited to Banks, Pag-IBIG, Landowner, Developer etc.
  10. Co-ordinate internally with Finance, Legal, Strategy, Fundraising, Public Affairs.
  11. Own end-to-end process & ensure successful Acquisition of properties under different deal types.

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree
  • At least 7 year(s) of working experience in the related field; experience in Project Development or Business Development is preferred
  • Preferred with background on project management and in property acquisition/ BD
  • Proficient with numbers and is analytical.
  • Fantastic interpersonal skills
  • Organized and manages people well. Especially people below and sideways.
  • A team player that can work with multiple teams and projects.
