Sr. Accountant - W/ US Accounting Experience (WFH Philippines)

The ideal candidate will have substantial exposure to monthly closing processes, forecasting and budgeting, and customer billing. They will be organized and approach each issue with an analytical mindset.

Responsibilities

• Ensure business transactions are reported in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles
• Work closely with team members to assist with the month-end close
• Assist with the annual audit process including the draft of the financial statements and related notes
• Research and analyze expense variances for company management

Qualifications

• 6+ years of Accounting Experience.
• 2+ years of US Accounting Experience.
• Expertise in U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, and financial analysis
• Proficiency in accounting tools and software like QuickBooks and Excel
• Strong attention to detail with skills in account reconciliation, budgeting, and variance analysis
• Experience in tax preparation, payroll management, and compliance with U.S. regulations
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for client collaboration
• Proven ability to manage deadlines and work independently in a remote setup
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA designation and experience in the trades or construction industries are a plus
