The Senior Accountant will be responsible in maintaining the accurate books of accounts for Philippines, Malaysia, Japan, and Greater China Region.
What you will work on
- Prepare journal entries, ensuring complete, accurate, and well-organized supporting documentation
- Maintain the accuracy and integrity of the general ledger in compliance with accounting standards and company policies
- Manage the monthly close process, including accruals, provisions, and prepaid expenses, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and timeliness
- Perform balance sheet, bank, and intercompany reconciliations, resolving discrepancies promptly
- Support the preparation and timely submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Assist in internal, external, and tax audits by preparing schedules, supporting documents, and responding to auditor queries
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and company policies
- Support the Finance Manager in reporting, analysis, process improvements, and other ad hoc tasks
What you will bring
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is an advantage but not required
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in General Accounting
- Strong background in accounting standards, general ledger, and account reconciliations
- Experience in financial audits (internal and/or external)
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Proactive and demonstrate strong initiative
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Collaborative team player
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
