Sr. Accountant Revenue and Leasing Assurance

What you should have Qualifications:

1) Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting and/or equivalent experience

2) 3+ years of accounting experience. Public accounting experience strongly preferred.

3) Prior experience in revenue and lease accounting is a plus.

4) Strong knowledge in US GAAP or IFRS

5) CPA or equivalent credentials is a plus.

6) Strong analytical thinking abilities with high attention to detail

7) Ability to analyze and interpret financial data.

8) Experience with Oracle Cloud, Hyperion, RevPro revenue management tool and Lucernex lease accounting software is a plus.

9) MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint) skills are required.

What you will be doing Responsibilities:

1) Review contracts with customers for revenue accounting treatment and draft accounting memos and writeups in accordance with ASC 606

2) Perform accounting analysis and prepare journal entries related to bad debt, sales allowance, and other revenue related accounts.

3) Prepare account reconciliations for revenue related GL accounts, investigate, and resolve variances where necessary.

4) Prepare and execute SOX controls and ensure SOX compliance at all times.

5) Prepare month-end management reporting package including changes in revenue reserves and other revenue accounting matters.

6) Prepare ASC 606 disclosures for Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC) reporting.

7) Review lease contracts for lease accounting treatment and draft accounting memos and writeups in accordance with ASC 842

8) Prepare ASC 842 disclosures for SEC reporting.

9) Support external and internal audits, including preparing working papers for the auditors and analyzing data.

10)Perform ad hoc projects as needed.
