Sr Accountant

Job Title: FSSC Junior Accountant – General Ledger

Department: Finance Shared Services / General Ledger

Experience:

• 10 years minimum of relevant accounting experience
• Experience in financial reporting / month-end close preferred
• Willingness to work shifting schedules, including Europe hours

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in accountancy / commerce
• CPA preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the General Ledger (GL) team in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
• Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Assist with closing transactions and financial reporting.
• Support annual budgeting and quarterly P&L estimates/consolidation.
• Review and validate financial data including Sales, Cost of Sales, IT and S&M expenses.
• Prepare Actual vs. Estimate reports and perform variance analysis.
• Monitor financial performance indicators and investigate variances.
• Prepare financial schedules, reports and analysis for business users.
• Support monthly BSC reporting and reporting timelines.
• Provide documentation and analysis for external audits.
• Coordinate with local finance teams to resolve outstanding variances.
