We are looking for a highly skilled SQL DBA with automation knowledge to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our SQL database systems to ensure maximum uptime, performance, and data security. Additionally, they will be responsible for automating routine database tasks to improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain SQL server instances

• Perform regular database maintenance activities such as backups, index rebuilds, and database optimization

• Develop and implement automation scripts to streamline routine database tasks

• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues, including performance bottlenecks, connectivity issues, and security breaches

• Monitor database performance and proactively identify potential issues before they become critical

• Design and implement disaster recovery plans and procedures

• Collaborate with software developers, system administrators, and other stakeholders to ensure database systems are properly integrated and functioning optimally

• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in database administration and automation

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

• Proven experience as a SQL DBA with a focus on automation

• Excellent knowledge of SQL Server 2012/2014/2016/2017/2019

• Proficiency in writing T-SQL queries and stored procedures

• Strong knowledge of database backup and recovery, database security, and disaster recovery

• Experience with automation tools such as PowerShell, Python, or other scripting languages

• Good understanding of database performance tuning and optimization techniques

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Minimum 2 mandate details are mandate with two or 3 liners

1. AWS Cloud knowledge or Certification

2. Experience in Devops tools like TSQL, Jenkins, Ansible

3. Postgres DBA knowledge and Experience
