A Day in the Life:
Participate in daily Agile stand -up meetings to review progress and discuss upcoming tasks
Design, develop, Responsible for designing, coding, configuring, testing, debugging, deploying, documenting, and maintaining web service applications using a variety of software development toolkits
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following established coding standards.
Participate in peer code reviews and provide actionable feedback to improve code quality.
Gather business requirements and translate them into detailed technical specifications
Troubleshoot production and non-production issues and implement software enhancements.
Validate that proposed solutions align with architectural standards and business requirements.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
Collaborate with team members to identify and implement engineering best practices.
Act as technical point of contact for clients and stakeholders, providing status updates and progress reports.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Information Systems, or a closely related technical field ((completed or currently in progress; undergraduates welcome), with foundational skills in programming, data analysis, systems analysis, or technical problem‑solving.
3–5 years of professional experience as a Full Stack Developer using Spring Boot.
Experience with at least one frontend framework: React.js, Angular, or Vue.js.
Experience working in Agile and Scrum development environments.
Experience using IDEs such as Eclipse or IntelliJ.
Experience using Git for code versioning and collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence.
Experience creating unit tests using JUnit, Mockito, or PowerMock.
Experience working with JSON and YAML.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience creating and interpreting UML diagrams (use case, activity, sequence).
Experience applying software design patterns.
Experience leading or mentoring junior developers.
Experience using Swagger, Kafka, or RabbitMQ.
Experience using quality and security scanning tools such as SonarQube, Fortify, or WebInspect.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
Knowledge of SOAP web services.
Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Familiarity with web security vulnerabilities and mitigation techniques.
