Position Overview
Spice Mix Technician responsible for preparing, blending, and weighing ingredients in spice mixing operations
Responsibilities
- Accurately weigh, measure, and prepare spices and ingredients according to R&D formulations.
- Operate and monitor blending and weighing equipment (scales, mixers, scoops, cutters).
- Ensure correct packaging, labeling, and completeness of spice mix products.
- Perform visual inspection of products and report any deviations to QA or supervisors.
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), allergen controls, and sanitation procedures.
- Conduct basic equipment checks, maintenance, and report issues to Engineering.
- Monitor inventory levels and report shortages of raw materials and packaging.
- Maintain accurate production records and documentation for quality and audit purposes.
- Participate in internal and external audits and ongoing food safety training.
Education
- At least college level or Highschool graduate
Experience
- At least 3 years of experience in the food manufacturing industry as a spice mix or production staff member
- Preferably residing in Cavite City and willing to work on a shifting schedule
Skills
- With strong knowledge of Food Safety (GMP, GWP, Cleaning and Sanitation)
- With strong communication
- Has an ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
