Role Description The Speech Language Pathologist is a full-time, on-site role based in Metro Manila, responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating a range of speech, language, and communication disorders. Day-to-day tasks include conducting comprehensive evaluations, developing individualized therapy plans, and delivering one-on-one or group therapy sessions. The role involves monitoring progress, updating treatment goals, and maintaining accurate clinical documentation. The Speech Language Pathologist will collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to support carryover of skills, provide education on therapy strategies, and participate in team meetings and case conferences. The role also includes contributing to program development, adhering to professional and ethical standards of practice, and engaging in continuous learning.
Qualifications
  • Candidates should possess strong skills in Speech Therapy and the assessment and treatment of Speech-related concerns.
  • Candidates should possess expertise in managing Dysphagia, including evaluation and intervention for swallowing difficulties.
  • Candidates should possess competencies in Communication Disorders, including diagnosis and therapeutic intervention for a variety of client profiles.
  • Candidates should possess skills in addressing Language Disorders, including receptive and expressive language challenges.
  • Relevant bachelor's or master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or a related field.
  • Valid professional license or certification as required by local regulations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Experience working with children, adolescents, or adults with developmental, neurological, or acquired communication needs is an advantage.
  • Commitment to evidence-based practice, ethical standards, and ongoing professional development.
