The Role:

As a Business Intelligence Specialist - Quality Assurance you'll be responsible for driving consistent quality, compliance, and governance across the I&I Hub's data processes and outputs. This role supports the organization by establishing clear documentation of quality standards, aligning with data governance frameworks, and conducting regular audits to ensure adherence to compliance requirements. Through collaboration with Data Strategy, Continuous Improvement (CI), and leadership teams, the Specialist, Quality Assurance enables data accuracy, regulatory compliance, and process improvement across all I&I Hub activities.

Key Accountabilities:

What you'll be doing:

  • Continuous Improvement and Evolution supports creation of detailed documentation that outlines testing procedures, acceptance criteria, and quality metrics
  • Delivering on Quality Standards - operationalizes the quality standards designed and established by the Data Strategy team, ensuring the implementation and integration of these within the I&I processes and outputs
  • Compliance and Audits - conducts regular compliance across I&I Hub teams, implementing data governance principles directed by the data strategy team, ensuring the data is accurate, complete, and consistent by spot checking cases to verify
  • Centralized Testing Function for Stress Testing and Solution Design Trialling with guidance, develops and documents test environments for new team solutions, products, or services to identify the effectiveness of changes and address any challenges or opportunities for improvement ahead of launch
  • Data Monitoring monitors data processes and metrics to identify issues or anomalies and generate reports to communicate findings to the Data and management teams, investigating the root cause of data errors or anomalies and collaborating with the relevant team to resolve these issues.
  • Subject Matter Expertise (SME) knowledgeable around quality assurance and data governance best practice, answering questions from internal stakeholders efficiently and accurately
  • AMS Technology Collaboration partners with the Data Governance team to interact with the Tech Dev and/or Tech Ops team, to keep up to date with relevant technology launches, changes, improvements, or trainings and improve SME knowledge and recommendations
  • Training and Guidance supports with training and guidance to I&I Hub team members on quality standards and best practices, fostering a culture of quality throughout the function
  • Compliance and Audits - ensuring regular compliance across I&I Hub teams, implementing data governance principles directed by the Data Strategy team

Skills & Experience:

You'll need to demonstrate:

  • Demonstratable understanding of research, data gathering, information categorization, attention to detail, adherence to processes, collaboration, multitasking, and process optimization.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, MS Power BI, VBA, data mining, and data preparation.
  • Flexible to work in EMEA shift.
