Title: Specialist, Production Planning
The
Production Planning Specialist is responsible for ensuring continuous supply availability, accurate production planning, and effective inventory level management to support store order requirements and production operations.
- Recommends short and longterm replenishment plans and analyzes forecast scenarios to prevent stockouts and lapsing.
- Coordinates with Manufacturing, Engineering, R&D, QA, and Site Logistics for smooth material flow and timely production schedules.
- Creates process orders, monitors material consumption and yield, and reviews production output.
- Develops raw material procurement plans and issues purchase or stock transport orders.
- Prepares supply, production, and supplier performance reports for decisionmaking.
- Manages capacity planning through monthly and weekly production work orders and weekly alignment with Manufacturing.
- Maintains inventory levels by computing buffer stocks, adjusting safety stock, and performing aging assessments.
- Ensures proper inventory turnover and targeted days coverage.
- Supports project initiatives and adheres to company policies, GMP, food safety, and quality standards.
- Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills; meticulous with numbers and planning details.
Job Qualifications
- Graduate of a 4year Business course; Industrial Engineering or related Engineering fields preferred.
- At least 1 year of experience in production planning within Manufacturing or Food Manufacturing plant.
- Proficient in Advanced Excel, ERP/SAP; Anaplan is an advantage.
- Willing to work onsite in Danao, Cebu (Full Onsite)
