SPECIALIST- PATIENT SAFETY

This role is responsible for ensuring quality analysis and proper management of sentinel and adverse events as well as clinical care and physician complaint management in the hospital. It includes the proper monitoring and documentation of action plans based on recommendation from sentinel and adverse event reporting and complaint management as well as the outputs of medical committees. It also ensures that all related compliance requirements for JCI and other government agencies are properly addressed and coordinated. Lastly, the roles and responsibility also include managing the overall operational and financial responsibilities of the department and the units under it namely, Clinical Investigation Analysis (CIA), Medical Liaison Services Office (MLSO), and Medical Committees, and ensuring that all Clinical Risk Management staff complies with the department's policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be a registered Nurse
• with at least 1-3 years of experience in methods and system analysis work
• With Technical knowledge in conducting Root Cause Analysis
• With experience in Quality Improvement Projects
