Job Title:Specialist, New Product Logistics

Location: Philippines

About the Role:

The Specialist, New Product Logistics for Automotive is responsible for managing the end-to-end logistics process of new product introductions (NPI) within the automotive division. This role ensures timely, efficient, and compliant movement of materials and finished goods, working closely with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and customer teams to deliver successful product launches.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate all logistics activities for new product introductions from prototype through production ramp and customer delivery.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and external logistics providers to ensure on-time delivery and inventory availability.
  • Plan and execute material movement schedules, including inbound components and outbound finished products, tracking milestones and addressing bottlenecks.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels, shipping documents, and logistics data for new products.
  • Support the creation and communication of NPI logistics plans, timelines, and reporting to key stakeholders.
  • Identify and resolve issues related to warehousing, or supply disruptions, escalating as needed to ensure launch readiness.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineering and sales to manage sample shipments, customer orders, and special logistics requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement in logistics processes related to NPI activities, focusing on efficiency, cost, and quality.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Business, or related discipline.
  • 3+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain, preferably within the automotive or electronics industry.
  • Strong understanding of new product introduction (NPI) processes and supply chain best practices.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Experience with logistics and manufacturing management systems is a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
