Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities

Supporting comprehensive HSSEQ operations

We're seeking a dedicated HSSEQ Specialist to assist in implementing and managing JLL's Global HSSE management system across assigned accounts under the guidance of senior HSSEQ professionals.

Collaborating with teams across APAC sites

You'll collaborate closely with the APAC HSSEQ Leads, and site teams to support adherence to JLL and client safety measures and procedures. Building positive working relationships with clients and contractors will be key to your effectiveness. You may support procurement activities by helping verify contractor safety compliance with established standards.

What this job involves

HSSE Platform Program Support

  • Assist the HSSE Geo Lead in implementing strategic objectives and yearly HSSEQ initiatives across the region.
  • Support the maintenance of the Integrated Management System (Q/HSSE/Risk).
  • Help deliver HSSEQ training programs and utilize safety resources effectively.
  • Aid in the development and dissemination of HSSEQ communications, such as safety alerts, bulletins, and campaigns (e.g., Global HSSE Week).
  • Assist in HSSEQ program assurance activities while supporting account growth strategies.
  • Provide administrative support for identifying and analyzing potential Serious Injury and Fatality (pSIF) incidents.
  • Support technical guidance delivery on HSSEQ issues and help communicate regulatory updates.
  • Maintain awareness of current legislation relevant to assigned region.
  • Prepare data and reports for monthly HSSEQ platform meetings.
  • Contribute to fostering a culture of safety across assigned areas.
  • Build effective working relationships with Business Units, Account Teams, clients, and third-party vendors.
  • Participate in JLL and client HSSEQ program initiatives.

Data Management & Analysis

  • Download, sort, and clean raw data from the HSSE Risk Rating Dashboard, HSSEQ viz portal dashboards, and other, to identify regional trends and actionable items.
  • Monitor the JLL Work Safe platform for incidents, providing follow-up on In Progress or Overdue events to ensure timely closure.
  • Prepare summary lists, highlight overdue actions or compliance gaps, and create clear, actionable data extracts to support the HSSEQ Geo Lead and account teams.
  • Develop and generate monthly HSSEQ reports as required by the HSSE Geo Lead.

Centralized HSSE Transition Support

  • Support new client bids with provision of HSSEQ information.
  • During new account transitions, assist in reviewing client HSSEQ programs and statutory requirements to identify gaps against JLL standards.
  • Support the development of draft account HSSE Manuals and the delivery of HSSE orientation training matrices.
  • Manage the upload of documentation to client portals and maintain central transition repositories.
  • Assist in the development of RACI matrices and optimization plans for use by account teams post-transition.
  • Manage other HSSEQ tasks, as applicable to the transition scope.

Supplier HSSE Prequalification Coordination

  • Support HSSE strategy implementation for contractor and supply chain vendor safety performance.
  • Support the program to prequalify the existing vendor base, communicating JLL requirements and the use of the Aravo platform.
  • Monitor high-risk suppliers, identify missing documentation, and coordinate with account teams to close compliance gaps.
  • Track supplier responses, escalate non-compliance to the HSSE Geo Lead and account leadership, and provide support such as language assistance for small suppliers.

Performance objectives

Performance:

  • Support technical guidance delivery on HSSE issues and help communicate regulatory updates
  • Maintain awareness of current legislation relevant to assigned accounts
  • Help ensure facility-related risk assessments meet legal requirements and Client HSSE Standards
  • Support implementation of JLL Work Dynamics HSSE strategic objectives at the operational level
  • Assist in managing operational HSSE risks by providing support on health and safety risk management
  • Participate in account incident and accident investigations under supervision
  • Support development and maintenance of HSSE communication plans
  • Support and develop JLL HSSE-related matrices & optimization plans
  • Support HSSE data management & analysis - generate HSSE reports, sort & index key data files, summarize & monitor actionable / overdue items

Leadership:

  • Contribute to fostering a culture of safety across assigned areas
  • Build effective working relationships with Account Teams, clients, and third-party vendors
  • Participate in JLL and client HSSE program initiatives
  • Monitor third-party vendor compliance with JLL and client HSSE Standards

Standards:

  • Support implementation and maintenance of JLL Global HSSE operational controls
  • Assist in aligning JLL HSSE practices with client HSSE standards and requirements
  • Help deliver HSSE training programs and utilize safety resources effectively
  • Support HSSE strategy implementation for contractor and supply chain vendor safety performance
  • Assist in HSSE program assurance activities while supporting account growth strategies

Key Skills

  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills to effectively manage diverse service providers, client account representatives, and JLL stakeholders
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to navigate complex problems, resolve ambiguous issues, and communicate at all organizational levels
  • Exceptional attention to detail for contract review, compliance verification, and supplier documentation accuracy
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deliverables daily and prioritize competing demands within tight deadlines
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office suite with expertise in Excel for analytical work, data management, and procurement reporting
  • Proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of multi-disciplinary teams
  • Flexible attitude with sense of urgency in completing objectives while maintaining quality standards

Sounds like you

To apply, you need to have:

  • A minimum of 5 years in HSSE management or a related coordination/analytical role.
  • Strong understanding of HSSE regulatory requirements, particularly in the APAC region.
  • Experience with HSSE management systems (e.g., ISO 45001) and auditing principles is preferred.
  • Experience or participation in both internal and external audits, preferred
  • Proven experience in a role requiring strong data analysis, program coordination, and administrative support.
  • Experience working in a centralized or shared-services team structure is highly advantageous.
  • Real estate or facilities management industry experience is beneficial but not required.
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote, team-based structure supporting multiple stakeholders.
  • Results-oriented mindset with excellent attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in working with data and generating reports.

The ideal candidate must possess excellent verbal and written English communication skills to effectively support the HSSEQ platform. This includes drafting reports, preparing presentations for the HSSEQ Geo Lead, and maintaining clear process documentation. Your ability to collaborate effectively with multicultural teams across the APAC region via email, phone, and video conference is essential.
