Job Description

The protection of children and vulnerable users has been fundamental to Resolver-Crisp's mission since day one. Every year we protect millions of the most vulnerable from the most egregious forms of exploitation. By combining Artificial and Human Intelligence, we deliver 24/7/365 early-warning risk intelligence to leading brands, global enterprises and social media platforms — stopping grooming, exploitation, disinformation and hate speech before they spread. It is only in diversity that we can tackle problems of this scale: our analysts come from a wide range of nationalities, cultural backgrounds and together speak over 50 languages.

The Role

We're looking for a Specialist Analyst to strengthen our Child Safety expertise. This is a role for someone who wants their work to have a direct, real-world impact on child safety — with the depth of experience to work independently, mentor others, and act as a vertical specialist for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Detect, investigate and analyse online threats involving child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming behaviours and child exploitation, using OSINT techniques and, where relevant, personas — with limited supervision.
  • Translate unstructured open-source intelligence into clear, well-structured, timely intelligence reports for clients and, where appropriate, law enforcement partners.
  • Track evolving language, coded terms and evasive tactics used by bad actors across messaging apps and closed groups.
  • Deliver small-scale training programmes and 1:1 training for new recruits; coach and mentor
  • colleagues within the vertical.
  • Organise and prioritise content delivery for a small team working across time zones; write clear
  • handover notes and meeting outcomes.
  • Look ahead of emerging risks for clients, proactively directing colleagues towards subjects of interest.
  • Act as a liaison for clients as a child protection specialist, attending calibration calls as required.
  • Provide rapid, high-quality analytical support during urgent safety incidents or emerging trend spikes.
  • Investigate and propose process or workflow improvements based on best practice.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Demonstrable knowledge and experience in the online child safety/risk space, ideally with subject matter depth in child endangerment.
  • A genuine interest in online safety and commitment to proactively researching new trends and areas of risk.
  • Experience in a research, safeguarding, intelligence or similar role — data collection, analysis or
  • intelligence operations across law enforcement, NGOs or major tech platforms is valuable.
  • Excellent research and report-writing skills, critical thinking, and attention to detail; fluent English and a degree-level qualification or equivalent experience.
  • High emotional resilience and discretion — this role involves regular exposure to distressing material and requires strict adherence to confidentiality protocols.
  • Ability to prioritise and manage deadlines across multiple cases; creativity and flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Familiarity with OSINT tooling; SQL/Python or data manipulation skills are a plus but not required.

Working hours are Monday to Friday daytime with weekend rotation as required. We operate Hybrid Office working, with 2 days a week in the office.
